Sage's Bed

 Avery has taken to snatching Sage's bed for her own use!

Avery is our silly girl!  She talks constantly and has an obsession for Dora, Diego, and Kipper.  She asks to watch them constantly.  She has limits to her television viewing.  Though, I fully support her watching any British cartoons.  Here are some of her phrases as of lately:

• Burp-it.  This is a baby burp cloth.  She hauls around a pug one as a baby blanket.
• Kippa'/Tiga'.  Her favorite cartoon characters and she says their names with the correct British accent.  Jules, you should be so proud!
• Avery's mark.  Her birthmark on her leg.  She has called it this since she was able to talk.  Sometimes she checks to make sure it is still there. 
• Popcorn.  This can truly mean popcorn, but she also calls popsicles this.
• Bugger.  This means booger.  She will walk up to me and say, "I have buggers in my nose."
• Daddy is my best friend.  If we ask her who her best friend is, this is her reply.  If we ask her who mommy's best friend is she replies, "Katie, Kallie's mommy."

Her favorite song right now is "Colors of the Rainbow" from Signing Time.  We listen to it over and over again in the car.  She loves to sing "No More Monkeys," "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star," "Baa Baa Black Sheep," "ABC's" (which she sings correctly) and "Jesus Wants Me for a Sunbeam." (This is the newest one.  I need to brush up on this song).

Grandpa Pain gave Avery a sand table and she spends most of her time playing with that.  She asks constantly to go outside and play in the sand (accompanied by the sign for sand).  She sometimes will throw in the sign for backyard.

She is into sharing things with us.  She will be eating something and ask us if we want some.  She also asks Sage (who always wants some).  She likes giving Sage hugs and kisses.  Sage likes the kisses part, but the hugs make her nervous.
