Avery is Fourteen Months!

Avery is fourteen months!  She is learning so much each day and is starting to be more of a toddler rather than our little baby.

Notice how Sage is leaning away from us!  She wanted to be running around the yard once the cake was gone.

Avery really likes to take pictures of herself (with Darren's help).  Tonight, she also wanted to chew on the camera strap.

Avery and Sage like to play together but have now learned to play some of Sage's games.  Avery has learned to wave Sage's toy and then Sage comes over and they tug on it.

Sage lets Avery give her loves now.  It is pretty sweet and Avery loves it!

Climbing Monkey

Avery loves to read anything she can get her hands on.  

She is getting ready to climb onto the hearth.  I don't love this activity of hers since our fireplace is kind of dangerous.

Avery's new thing is to drink her bottle in Sage's bed.  We can say, "Avery do you want to drink your bottle in Sage's bed?"  She will crawl right over to the bed and push Sage out if needed.

Notice that she has one pacifier in her hand and another by her head.  She thinks it is necessary to hold a pacifier while drinking her bottle.

Avery has truly taken over Sage's bed.  Avery put this bear in to keep Sage company.

Avery is Climbing!

Avery always does something new when it is a physical therapy day.  Today, she decided to show Karen (her PT) what a big girl she was by climbing onto our fireplace hearth!  Way to go Avery!

She thinks it is a pretty great reading spot!

Happy Father's Day!

Sage loves Avery's Pug toy.  Both Sage and Avery play with this toy throughout the day.

Lauren came to play with Avery today!  Both girls had a lovely time!  Lauren sang to Avery and they read a lot of books!

Sage loved playing too but ended up getting tired and had to take a rest!
